Grangegorman Development

Mary and her father Dermot, meet An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, at the recent launch of the Grangegorman Development Project.

In September the government gave the “green light” to the Grangegorman Development, which was great news not just for our area but the city and the country. The development of a DIT, HSE and Community Campus is going to transform the area, bring employment, worldclass health, education and community services.

The next stage is public consultation on the draft Strategic Plan. Submissions are currently invited to the statutory document which will then be considered by the Agency(I am a member of the board) and the draft document will be amended as necessary and finally adopted as the Strategic Plan for the project.

The display ends on Tuesday 26th October and the closing date for the receipt of submissions is Tuesday 9th November. It is very important that as many submissions as possible are made on these plans as they will be the basis for how the whole Grangegorman project will proceed and it is important that everyone has their say. So if its positive, negative or neutral please put it in a letter or e-mail and send it in. You can send it to the address below or to communications@ggda.ie.
