Blackhorse Avenue Traffic

In response to my representations to Dublin City Council over the past number of weeks (click HERE for more), last week Dublin City Council convened a Transit-Stakeholder review meeting of the Temporary Traffic Management Plan supporting the roadworks on Blackhorse Avenue. The review concluded the following:
  1. Blackhorse Avenue (between Baggot Road and Cabra Gate) will revert to a two way/stop-go system of traffic management from Monday (evening).
  2. Ashtown Gate in the Phoenix Park will revert to two way traffic.
  3. Cabra Gate will remain exit only for the duration of the Blackhorse Avenue works.
  4. The Odd Lamp Road (within the Phoenix Park) will revert to its status a pedestrian /cyclist route only.
These changes have been agreed with an An Garda Siochana and the Office of Public Works. More as I receive updates.
